Dr. Logan is a licensed psychologist who provides individual, family, and marital therapy. In addition he offers psychological testing and clinical evaluation services for assessing, treating, and advocating for children with learning disabilities and other special education designations.  Areas of interest and specialty include treating adult ADD/ADHD, depression, marital/relationship problems, parenting difficulties, family problems, grief/loss, and stage of life issues.

Specialized Training

Certified Trainer of Trainers: Parent-Child Interaction Therapy Obtained through U.C. Davis Medical Center. "PCIT" is a research based parent-child treatment program that assists parents of children with behavioral problems (including: aggression, non-compliance, defiance, and over-reactivity). PCIT is unique in that it focuses on promoting positive parent-child relationships and interactions while teaching parents effective child management skills. Research Based Marital Therapy: Dr. John Gottman Marital Therapy Model. This marital therapy is a research based clinical intervention for intervening and enhancing troubled marriages. The technique involves the use of a very practical hands-on approach to dealing with relationship difficulties.

Specialized Services:

Psychological Assessment Services; with specialization in special education assessment, clergy ordination, and peace officer selection. 

Parent Training: Dr. Logan runs several parenting groups each year focusing on helping parent develop skills that are known to enhance relationships with children and improve behavior compliance. Recent topics have included: Relationship Enhancement Skill Development, Getting Kids to Comply, and the "Covenant Parenting (tm)" model. For more information contact Dr. Logan.
